
Nokia has just announced their latest CDMA mobile handset called the Nokia 2608. This fold phone features high-gloss exterior finish highlighted by a racy stripe down the middle design. It will be available in three color designs including pink stripe, silver with green stripe and black with blue stripe. It also offers personalization options such as pre-loaded ringtones and wallpapers. The Nokia 2608 may seem to be your average fold phone but actually its a feature-rich mobile handset that boasts of great features and specs including, quick touch access to PC using the 2608 as a modem, voice recorder function, integrated speakerphone, quick-press flashlight, FM radio, and a LED indicator light that blinks when there is an incoming call or message waiting. The Nokia 2608 also has an option for sending business card or calendar appointment via SMS. Other key features of the Nokia 2608 include, Wap 2.0/Brew 3.1.5 support, 64-polyphonic MIDI, AAC, AAC+, MP3, QCELP ringtones, HSD connectivity, pre-loaded games such as Brick Slider, Aqua Pearls, and Bowling Alley. While for its other features, we’re looking at an internal: 1.8” 128 x 160 (262K TFT) display, SMS/LMS/Start Messaging, a 1.5 MB built-in user memory, and a voice recorder. With its BL-5BT 870mAH battery, the Nokia 2608 gives out 3.5 hours of use time and 10 days stand-by time. The Nokia 2608 will be available in 1Q 2009 in some CDMA countries outside the US.
