Mobinnova, a Taiwan-based company that teamed up with Sony Ericsson in order to produce a new version of the Xperia, has just announced a brand new handset which is said to be their flagship smartphone. Maybe this is a surprise for some of you, but Mobinnova is indeed a company that has its own mobile phones as well.
Released under the name of Mobinnova ICE, the Windows Mobile-based smartphone works with the Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 professional and is provided with a 528 Mhz Qualcomm MSM7201ATM chipset. But this isn’t everything about this device, so pay a little bit of attention to what I’ve got to say.
The features of the Mobinnova ICE include: GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz and WCDMA/HSPA 900 / 1900 / 2100 MHZ, a 3 inch WQVGA TFT-LCD touchscreen, a 3 megapixel camera with autofocus and a dedicated shutter control and a second camera which is especially designed for video calling, memory of 256 MB ROM and 128 RAM with the possibility of expanding it with microSD card (with SDHC support), an integrated FM radio with RDS and RBDS function, Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity with EDR / A2DP and an integrated GPS and aGPS.
