Gresso Outs a New Luxury Phone - the Avant Garde Skeleton

From Gresso maker of luxury mobile phones such as the AvantGarde Gold, Steel and White Diamonds comes another ultra-expensive luxury phone aptly called the AvantGarde Skeleton. To sold sold for a whooping 4,000 EURO, the AvantGarde is your standard mobile phones in a rather exquisitely designed-form factor composed of precious materials to justify its expensive price.

Actually, we were kind of expecting more progressively impressive features considering that the AvantGarde Skeleton is priced too high. Unfortunately it can only muster a Windows Mobile 6.1 OS, a QVGA screen, Bluetooth, 2GB of built-in flash memory, 2 megapixel camera, Wap 2.0 and GPRS connectivity (sorry folks no 3G here), video and audio playing capability that supports various digital formats including MIDI, WMA, AVI, ASF and WMV (no MP3?), some personal organizer functions such as calendar, alarm, calculator, voice recorder and games. In addition, the Avant Garde Skeleton offers 4 hours talk time and 150 hours standby time. It’s a GSM 900/1800/1900 phone as well.

For what it lacks for great technical features and specs, the AvantGarde Skeleton makes up for its design and form factor. As such, this luxury mobile phone’s case was made of titanium alloy with high-tech ceramic coverage. It’s back panel has a sapphire glass decorated with the Gresso logo with 10 micro gold. The phone’s 23 keys were made of aircraft steel, the battery cover made up stainless steel decorated with genuine leather, and its display screen is framed with polished sapphire crystal glass.

The AvantGarde Skeleton will be available in 15 units only. We’re not really going to encourage you to go and get yourself a unit but if you do have the money to spare and waste, you would definitely get self-satisfaction somehow in owning this mobile phone.
